Circular Industries (‘CI’) was founded in 2017 as a project developer and integrates proven technologies to enable deep and sustainable recovery of raw materials from

low-grade Waste Printed Circuit Boards.

About CI

The mission is to improve the recovery of raw materials,

so that these become available for the EU’s manufacturing industries and energy transition. This mission has taken shape in the Urban Mining Factory - Printed Circuit Boards ('UMF-PCB') project and is fully in line with the policy of the European Commission on Critical Raw Materials.

The project validation will be completed in Q2 2023, after which the factory’s blueprint will be finalized.
The fundraising to complete the last validations is in progress, with financial support from national and EU governmental bodies, among others.

ING Bank

The project financing process will follow after completion of the project validation and a Due Diligence by third parties, whereby ING Bank in the Netherlands acts as the Mandated Lead Arranger of the Senior Debt Facilities.

Circular Industries will develop, build, own and operate the UMF-PCB. The first factory is expected to be operational Q2 2025, after a construction period of 18 months.
